A disappointing Juventus are defeated by Lyon in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. Meanwhile in the Europa League, Roma and Inter progressed without shining. The Giallorossi had their hands full in Gent but brought a useful lead from the first leg. Inter also progressed into the round of 16 as they were able to control their match behind closed doors at San Siro, due to the emergency Coronavirus protocol. Although even Conte’s team had a little scare after the Bulgarian side scored early through Cauly. However, Biraghi and Lukaku’s goals meant Inter went into the break ahead which allowed for a calmer second half. At 13:00 CET today, the draw for the round of 16 will take place in Nyon.
