The FIGC has backed the Susan G. Komen Italia tour by supporting an additional stop in October’s program with the event in Salerno in view of the Women’s Nations League fixture between Italy and Spain. On Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27, it was possible to receive free diagnostic treatment on-site in Salerno.

130 women benefited from the event with 188 appointments being carried out, including screenings (mammograms and ultrasounds) and nutritional consultations. The Azzurri and the Azzurre also featured in video messages promoting prevention and published on social media. During both the First Team retreats in Coverciano, the Technical Centre was lit up in pink to spread awareness about the importance of prevention in the fight against breast cancer and the support of women’s healthcare.
