Azzurri depart for Budapest, Immobile unavailable for the match against Hungary

The first team squad have set off for Budapest, where they will face Hungary at the 'Puskas Arena tomorrow evening at 20:45 CEST (live on Rai 1) in their final Nations League group game. Ciro Immobile underwent clinical tests this morning in Milan and they confirmed that he will be unavailable for selection for the game. The Lazio striker was with the group at Malpensa airport as they returned back from a flight from Rome after registering their vote in the country's national general election yesterday.

Despite appreciating the player's efforts, Head Coach Roberto Mancini has decided to let the Lazio striker return to his parent club to continue treatment after tests proved he was unable to play. The tests done were as always shared and agreed with the striker's Club medical officials.
