The group stages are complete; eight teams advance to the quarterfinals. Lete qualify as the best runner-up.

It’s been an intense morning in the last of the summer sun, with 42 group-stage matches deciding the eight teams advancing to the quarterfinals. The results have been updated in real time on the scoreboard by Field 2 (the ‘Enzo Bearzot’ pitch). Teams with a perfect record, three wins out of three are Eni, Di Marco, Ali Lavoro, and Ernst & Young. They secure their spot in the knockout stage, finishing with maximum points.

In Group E, adidas has already secured a spot in the quarterfinals after two matches; their 0-3 loss to TeamSystem didn’t affect their qualification. TeamSystem finished the group in second place with five points.

Group F was tightly contested and ultimately decided by the head-to-head in the final match. Fileni with two wins and six points, and Corriere dello Sport, with a draw and a win for four points, faced off to decide the group winner. Corriere dello Sport clinched a win thanks to goal from Marco Morabito, securing their spot.

In Group C, after a goalless draw in their opening match, Volkswagen and Lete went on to record two straight wins, finishing the group with seven points each. Volkswagen topped the group with a goal difference of +8, while Lete (+6) still got through to the quarters as the best runner-up across all seven groups.

At 15:00, the draw will determine the matchups for the knockout stage.

Fun Facts:

Di Marco reaches the tournament’s knockout stage in its very first appearance at the Azzurri Partner Cup.

Ernst & Young continue to keep a clean sheet: the last goal they conceded was in the 2023 final. Since then, they’ve scored 30 goals in ten matches.

adidas returns to the knockout stage after 2023, when they were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Lete, along with Tim, the only team to have participated in every edition of the Azzurri Partner Cup, advances to the knockout stage again, repeating their achievement from the 2024 edition. Prior to that, they had always been stopped at the group stage.

Teams qualified for the quarterfinals: adidas, Ali Lavoro, Corriere dello Sport, Di Marco, Eni, Ernst & Young, Lete, and Volkswagen.
