Ahead of the Elite Round: Azzurrini are training in Rome, Piu joins the squad

The under-19 national team conducted their first training session this morning at the Mancini Park Hotel in Rome. The team met yesterday ahead of the Elite Round of the European Championship, which is due to start on 26th March in Austria. Head coach Alessandro Pane decided to call up Empoli forward Alessandro Piu too and will announce the 18-man squad than will travel to Austria on Tuesday 24th March.
The first lessons held by teachers of liberal arts and scientific subjects will take place this afternoon. The teachers will remain with the group until the tournament has ended.
